Accurate #9

I bought some Accurate #9 to try in my Pistol loads and discovered the powder is so fine that it jambs the knob on my "older" RCBS Trickler. Just thought I would ask the "pros" that use this powder. Seems to me the RCBS Trickler will not dispense this "Moondust" type powder. Thanks Ken Sommerville

that is why people buy progressive presses.
its great in a 44 mag too slow for 9 or 40, 38

Never had a problem with it in the RCBS powder measure.
Great in 40, 7.62x25 and supersonic 300 BLK

I've ran a number of 8lb bottles of #9 through my RCBS powder dispenser, without any problems.

Thanks Guys , I think I will try my dispenser and give up the Trickler. Just looking to speed up my process. Really dont want to buy another press.

our version of great are different.
a 180 at 1.135 in a 5" bbl is
aprox 1030 fps with a 100% load but only 27kpsi.
low pressure means a poor burn, dirty gun.
5 and 7 are much better, even 2 works well.

Never had a problem with it in the RCBS powder measure.
Great in 40, 7.62x25 and supersonic 300 BLK
