I have one 8)

To date, I think it's the best money I've spent on this hobby. I will never sell it, so don't ask!

Walt,
I will give you eleven thousand dollars for that trickler 8) just kidding, I know a few have made it here but there not openly marketed here, I have talked with Allan he is working on possibly getting them to the U.S You can get anything if you want it bad enough.
Wayne.

Wayne,

DEAL! Send me the money, and I promise I'll send you the trickler :)

I actually bought it on this forum... Forget the name of the fella I bought it from, but I jumped on it as soon as I saw it.

What's really awesome, is after I bought it, Allan contacted me and gave me all kinds of info and links to videos and reviews on the product. He also offered to take care of anything that might go wrong in the future (although I doubt that I will need it). That's some fine customer service, especially for buying the unit second hand!

Sweet Walt. I want one too. Which scale do you use it with? Do you know if the guy that tunes the 10-10's does 505's? Can't remeber his name.

I'im using one of his tuned scales with the Target Master. It's an old Lyman/Ohaus M5. It's pretty darn sweet! Since I have my PC (or laptop) next to me at the loading bench, I also use a P2V camera, attached to the PC to give me a closeup of the scale, which is at the correct look angle. I'm very happy with the setup. Here's what I have going on:

It looks cluttered, but it's not... you only have to grab the pan. ( no need to look at anything else, aside from the monitor with the magnified scale reading!

Snap - I'm doing exactly the same thing, except I have RCBS 10-10 scales. I reckon the only way I could speed up and improve accuracy is to use the satorius GD503.

One more trick I have found with the Omega is that the direction the weighted base at the bottom of the unit is facing is important. At least on mine, if the base is facing away from the direction the powder moves, it will flow faster, and vice versa. I keep the hopper about half full and when I switch to a different powder it takes a minute or two of fiddling to find the combination of weight placement and base angle that will feed the way I want it to. The base angle seems to have more affect on powder flow that the weight does, at least on mine.

Great product.

Yep, same here. I typically keep the base opposite the dispensing tube now.

Will be trying the plastic drinking straw tip too next reloading session, see if I can't get kernels moving a little more freely.
