I don’t see an option to purchase ammo on the ABRA website.

When the ammo is imported to Lapua's US warehouse, 2 bricks from a given lot are sent to the test center for customers to test. If a customer decides that a particular lot is acceptable, and wants it, they let the test center manager know and then indicate which distributor should get paid for the ammo. The ammo is sent directly from the Lapua warehouse to the customer, after having made arrangements to pay the distributor.

And even though they have a 1 case maximum, if they have just the 1 plus the “broken” case they will let you buy the whole lot. I was lucky enough to find a great lot of Midas + recently that I was able to buy all they had left. (9000 rds). Good to know about the various vendor options, to the OP’s point, some vendors may have a lower price then other ones, but charge sales tax, processing fees, extra shipping, etc. As always it pays to shop around!
Still the best way to find good ammo.
JMHO YMMV

BTW you’ll want to shop around before your appointment. Shane will enter your order immediately if he knows which reseller to route it through.

I agree. I was able to buy 9000 rounds last fall as well.

Since Lapua makes lots in 3-4 cases per lot, there’s a decent chance of that happening. But they won’t tell you how much you can get until the very end and don’t try to game that system. I got most of two cases last summer and I’m hoping it happens again on my next visit. But if not that’s fine too.

It's a coin flip, you are just as likely to have someone else get the full case before you and all that's left is a partial with the 2 bricks missing. Happened to me a couple of years ago with some Center-X.
Ya pays your money and ya takes your chances. I'm just happy to have ammo my rifles like!
