? about Berger 88 gr.flat base

Has anyone tried Bergers 88 gr. flat base bullets out to 600 yds in a 6BR/BRX/Dasher/8 twist with any success?

i have shot a lot of dogs with it around that range. one of my favorites in a 243 or 6 br.

I beleive that a record was broken at 600 yards with them in a 6br. Look through the gun of the week articals and you will find your info. Lee

i have had them up to 3450 but started to have some premature fragmentation. 3250 seems to work often at 5 to 600y. maybe 700 if the wind is calm. when the wind kicks up i feel the need for a little more wt.

A record was set in 2005' in IBS 600 yds benchrest with a 6BR-DX ( see gun of the week 6BR -DX) shooting 88 gr - 1.070". The DX runs about the same speed as a BRX and Dasher. I have a 6BR 10tw that likes the 88 and 90gr Berger's.
