Ability to load at the range

My most important item for my field reloading is a home-made windproof box made of plywood and plexiglass to house my 10-10 or electronic scale out of the wind. Here shown with 10-10 that has floor slots for its 3-legs with room for a powder trickler. Doors each end allow left and right hand manipulations of scale/trickler. Left door has a sliding plexiglass door. Generally, throw a towel over right door when hand is inserted. Box is 3-legged for stability on the bench.
Or, just get a ChargeMaster Lite, which has the best wind guard of anything I have ever seen.

it’s scale is about the same accuracy level as all of the other scales that will weigh within +-.1 grn.

All you need is one of these to power it image.jpg

It’s really a simple way to solve a problem.

By the way. On the three Rifles I shoot the most, 6PPC, 30BR, and 6 BRA, I rarely take the loading equipment and range equipment image.jpgout of my truck. Just the Rifles and powder.

That way I don’t forget things.

I am curious what you guys are using to transport your glass powder vials around. I ended up getting 100 of the 10ml vials, they are a little on the large side, but I like the opening of the larger vials. Now I just need a case to store and transport them in. The base of the vial is almost an inch so I am not sure there is a bullet case that will work?
