Aaron Hogue, fatal accident while racing at Reno Air Races.

29 driver and one spectator

Rest In Peace mr Hogue, you made some cool products.
However, no one has died in NASCAR since 2001.

I agree that when it comes to the physical requirements involved in endeavors that involve racing at high speeds, it is a young man’s game.

I am 76, and there is no way I could do what I did in the 1970’s

One of the things that always stuck in my head was this…….those fighters were designed to be flown by young men in there 20’s maybe 30’s, I don’t believe the human body handles G’s as well at 65 as They do at 25, unfortunately very few 25 year olds can afford a mustang and even fewer have the desire to race them, Tom cruise owns 3 of them and he’s pushing 60 as well…..
Most fly purpose made planes. The most popular is the extra. Hogue flew an L29 czech fighter trainer. The extras are about all you see at the red bull air races.
