AA4350 vs H4350

List: Ive been working on a load for my 6mm/22-250 using SMK 107s. Ive been using AA4350 and Varget. Not real happy with either but I was told that AA4350 is a "poor" quality choice when compared to H4350. I used the AA powder because I had a pound of it which is 10 or so years old.

Any opinions of AA4350?

I use a lot of 4350 in all three brands and have never known AA to be inferior. AA is the fastest of the three, IMR being next and H the slowest but the difference between the three is very small. Maybe your friend meant that the short-cut and temperature tolerance of Hodgdon was better and there is a truth in that. But I would not hesitate to use the AA since you already have it.
