can some one tell me when AA2015BR was changed. i have a pretty good supply from about 1994. why did they change a good thing?

I spoke to AA in 2004, they claim there is no difference between the 1995 era 2015BR and the current 2015XMR and
I find that to be true. It's the only powder I use in .223 with the 50&55g bullets.

I don't believe they are the same powders. I used a bunch of the old 2015 and it shot great in a PPC. When the XMR came out, it didn't do anywhere near as well. I gave up on it. For something other than BR, it is probably fine.

I also use it in 220 Russian and 22 Waldog, I have not noticed any difference.

Wasn't the old stuff made in Eastern Europe and the newer stuff is made in Australia?

there must be a difference or benchrest guy's would not have stopped using it. it was very popular for a while. i would like to know the date it changed.
