AA 4350 Powder

Have a chance to get 8# AA4350, same lot. I have not read about it being used much for targets.
Any comment from those who have experience with it would be appreciated. My stock of H4350 is getting low and I wonder how the AA would compare.
Thanks.

AA 4350, I used this powder for a no of years in a 260, velocity was about 30 fps down on what I used to get with H4350, but ES's were much better, from 4-9 fps,
with H4350 ES's were 10-20 fps, AA 4350 is a bit faster burning faster than H4350. Also, AA2520 is a great powder for the .308, I hope this helps, dooley

Thanks, it does help. Will try it in a .30-06 for accuracy, low ES and maybe a .300Mag with lighter bullets.

Here is something that I had not seen before, (I wish I had before I used N550 this past yr)

Looks like the AA4350 might be a reasonable performer/substitute if you can't get H4350.

I now have 8# and will post results after I test them. Am still curious as to why it isn't used more.

Availability ?, I would still use it but supplies seem to have dried up in the UK,
at least AA's test barrels are all the same lenght 24 inch, not like Vihtavoury
who use an 18 1/2 inch barrel when testing the .260 Rem, and a 27 1/2 barrel
when testing the 6.5x47, its almost like "Creative Accounting"
