AA 2520 & 75 Amax in .223?

Accurate 2520, according to data, is the king for velocity in mid-weight bullets in the 6.5 Grendel so I picked some up to try, I want some 129 SSTs going at a respectable velocity for a pig hunt.

Looking at the burn rate, the stuff's right next to R15 for burn rate so it got me wondering if it would be an okay powder for my .223 and 75 grain AMaxes. Anybody tried this powder in .223 Rem. with 75 grain bullets?

The stuff flows like beer and I figure it can't be any dirtier than R15 which I'm currently running.

great powder. you can definately push the heavy .223 bullets fast with 2520. aa2520 used to be the old stand by powder at camp perry. i am currently using 2520 out of my 18" long range ar-15 shooting 77 bergers. i have taken these bullets to over 2800 fps out of this barrel. but, it shoots best at about 2750. good stuff, but load differently in summer vs. winter.
