A2230 and 107 gr SMK

I have a large quantity of A2230 powder that I would like to try in my 8 twist 6BR using 107 gr SMKs but I can't find any load data for bullets of that weight. Some people might consider A2230 too fast for this application but on every burn rate chart I can find it's slower than H322 and Benchmark, both of which Hodgdon recommends for 107 grain bullets. (Yes, I know all burn rate charts lie.) Does anyone have any load data for this combination?

Powder characteristics are above and beyond importance than burn rate charts.
Powder behaives and reacts to pressure way different
than a simple burn chart would indicate.
Unpredictable and counterintuitive.

Stick to a reload manual. They took all the arrows for you.

Or keep getting creative, then post pictures of the shrapnel
from the BOMB you set off 3 inches from your face.

AA2230 is not even suitable
for heavy 223 bullets let alone 243.

And this powder is among my favorites( for223).

Accurate Arms reloading data is available for free on their website. The manual can be downloaded in PDF format for free.

They show reloading data for the 6BR with AA2230 for only the light weight bullets. (60 and 70 grains)
As others have said, it's too fast for the heavy weight bullets. But, they do show the following for 60 & 70 grain bullets.

ACCURATE 2230
Sierra 60 gr. HP 30.2 - 33.5 gr.
Berger 70 gr. 29.3 - 32.5 gr.

FWIW, I use AA-2230 to firearm brass for my 6-Dasher with one of those loads.

20 percent off, I tried to send you an email and got the following message - "User '20 percent off' has blocked your personal message." Did the Gestapo get to you?

20, your email is not listed but I appreciate your efforts on my behalf. I'll try some other forums I belong to. They don't specialize in the 6BR but they are more helpful when it comes to sharing information, and if it doesn't work out at least I can entertain Mr. Torre with some pics. Thanks again.

I use 2230 in my 6BR's shooting the 60,65, and 75g bullets, fast and very accurate. I have no idea on how safe it would be for the heavies.

Personally, I would try AA2520 on the heavies.

Go by the reloading manuals and be safe, increase your powder charges slowly.
