So, when problems are encountered you often see them on this forum. I decided to post about a company that took care of a problem correctly.
Bought a new cutter for my Wilson case trimmer. When I was snugging the thin jamb nut against the aluminum handle, the threaded portion unexpectedly broke apart. It appears there was an undetectable stress fracture in the threaded portion and there wasn't much left holding it together.
An email to Wilson with photos and a short phone conversation and the replacement arrived today, free of any charges.
I understand mistakes and unanticipated events will occur when running a business. What matters is how the business handles those situations. LE Wilson handled it perfectly in my opinion.
