A Thank you to BATmachine

Erik on the Range
The last 10 months have been painful, but today it finally paid off. My BAT B 1.35 arrived at my local FFL today, and I took care of my paperwork, so I can send it off to join the rest of the parts for my rifle build.

The action itself is amazing, but for the big thing was/is the customer service I received. The many Emails and phone calls they received from me, with random questions, were answered quickly, professionally and very politely.

I was anxious about putting this much into one part of a rifle, in addition to all the rest, but i am glad I did, and I'm now totally stoked to see how the whole thing turns out!

Thanks BAT for a great product, and a great customer experience

Erik,
Those are Badd A$$ actions, I looked at them at Brunos one day (way out of my $$$ range ) Is that for your F class build.

yeah, it's for the build, last piece to be completed. Last big purchase before my kid comes in November.

I'll bet those ten months felt like ten years!!! I just received a B 1.35 myself and I'm howling like the '' dog'' I am.

LOL......... ;D

qwll, it was a 10 month wait, and the action, rail, and trigger guard I got cost more than any 2 other guns I have.....I think giggly was acceptable, if embarrassing....The action totally rocks, and is now boxed up to go to my smith

Stock is a Masterclass F-TR stock, barrel is a Brux standard palma barrel. Should be getting the whole thing completed and back to me mid winter. Too many people having stuff done. I'm slowly doing a write up on my whole first custom buying experience

Now the waiting begins AGAIN!!!!!

It will be worth it.....................Trust me... 8)

Phil.

Good choices. You will rarely go wrong with a BAT. Here's a pic of one of mine. The rifle is a 3LL147OCTPIC, the action below is a 3L14OCTPIC. I have two 3LL rifles, nearly identical except for bolt and chambering. One is .284 Shehane and the other .300 WSM. The 3L action was sold recently on this forum. It sat around the safe too long with no planned project. So, it went to someone who will use it as intended. ;)

I just picked up a Masterclass F class thumbhole in blue and grey laminate for an F Open build in 6.5x47 Lapua. I still have to inlet it and spray with auto clear. I just finished chambering the barrel and bushing the firing pin to the .060 size.
I am going to use one of my bipods instead of one of those fancy rests.
Just building something to play around with, and have a little fun.
On my 308 I used the 95 Palma reamer and it shoots the 168gr. Hybrids really well.
What reamer are you using?
