After a long 6 month wait I have finally received my custom 6.5x284 with the help of many people.
Thanks go out to Tim at Broughton barrels who put up with me changing my order and where to ship my barrels to be chambered... sorry Tim.
Thanks to PTG for providing me a custom chamber reamer built to John Hoover's specs.
Thanks to Carl Bernosky for taking on the chambering on short notice when my original gunsmith became ill.
Thanks to Alex Sitman for some fine work on the stock and bedding the action perfectly.
Thanks to Bob Pastor for providing a fine custom modified F-Class rest.
Thanks to John Hoover for the Panda action and loading supplies. He is a wealth of information on the 6.5x284!!
Thanks to many local club shooters for their recommendations on parts and builders.... Eric Kennard and Mike Dana.
I highly recommend any of these people on your next build
40 rounds down the tube and she's a tack driver already. Bughole 5 shot groups at 100yds and under 1/2MOA at 325yds so far.... and that's cleaning after every round with a patch. Tomorrow is day 2 on the range at 325yds and were going to see if I can pick up the pace a bit.
