a pleasant surprise with my 20 TAC

I have been working up loads with my 11 tw 20 TAC using 4198, 10 x, N133, LT 32 and decided to try a rare powder,Tubal 3000. I bought this from a friend who planned on trying it in a BR but never did. It's burn rate is around 10 x, which my 20 TAC likes. Tubal 3000 ' s granules are bigger than the others so it fills the case into the neck just at the bullet's base. BANG ! and overlapping holes! 3900+ fps with 35 bergers and no excessive pressure signs. Thought i' d bought a shelf sitter but this powder is going to be shot. It does shoot nicely in the 6 BR also but not as well as LT 32 and N 133.

That's great! Do you have enough to keep it running? I have a .20 Practical barrel ordered for my AR, 24" 10tw. Hope it performs like yours with 39 gr. BK's.
