My wife of 33 years lets me do what I want. She fully supports me doing stuff that makes me happy. I am the same way with her. I cannot imagine life without her.

I get a say on the shop and garage configuration, everything else is up to her. She is VERY good at design and decorating.

Me too on all that. Decorating is one of the things that makes her happy. My house looks amazing, and all I did was pay for stuff.

Same here - the room off of the garage is my Relod-o-rama (which is a semi organized mess). On decorating, my lovely wife will ask for my input on paint colors but I defer to her on the final decision. I have no sense of color so I would not know where to start! She did let me get hardwood over tile - as long as I installed it haha - which I was glad to do.

She'll show me something and I'll say, "Looks good, Honey. Grey goes with everything." Then she'll look at me with a sneer and say, in a disgusted tone, "It's pink!" "Dumass", though not spoken, is implied. WH

Isn't it amazing, we men fix plumbing fix electrical, do home repairs manage the lawn, take care of garbage chores keep up our vehicles but cannot do anything else without their supervision. they think we only need 1 gun. Its amazing the power in their assets!
