I did have to drill out the motor mount spot welds and reposition the motor with some 3/16” or 1/4” bolts. Otherwise the upgrade should be pretty self explanatory.

That is an excellent fix!!! Having no idea that such pulleys, and belts even existed, I cut the crap belt that came with my Rebel 17 in two and measured length and dia. and bought an O ring close to the same size. It seems to be working, but I haven't used it too much since the original died. It probably has 10 hours on the O ring.
