A little help please, tops for SEB rest.

So what do the "others" add to the equation? I know there are several "tops" for SEB rest like the Linzi and maybe the Rodzilla and a few others. I've shot off the SEB for 2019 and a few times last year. So what am I missing?

Rodzilla is currently not legal for IBS bench rest.
I've shot off SEB, first a NEO and now a MAX, for the last four or five years.
IMO, you are missing nothing but, then again, I have never tried the Lenzi top.

Rodzilla has a new top to be released that uses a farley front bag that should be legal.

Best I can tell is you get some neat features that take your money but don't really get any more accuracy.
This sir is EXACTLY what I was thinking. Seeing the quality of SEB rest I think he would change it IF he thought it would be better. JMHO

It helps on the setup. If you never used both tops it's hard to compare. I think the original Rodzilla top seemed like a good idea to Fclass users. Setting up on a bench and putting everything on the ground has different challenges.

People change tops to get better or more legal options. The regular seb top is illegal for short range br, so we have the one piece ratigan bag mod option with no lift springs. That kinda makes it legal but the bag kinda sucks because it bunches up in the corners. Thats why the farley rests were 95% on the line over a seb for a long time. In walks alberto lenzi. Loved the rest so he made a top that takes a better bag made from different materials. That gives a guy at least 4 or 5 options to use on the seb rest- whatever discipline you shoot in theres a very good option available that fits the rest to your style. Very versatile rest in the grand scheme

So replacing the SEB top with a Lenzi will make it IBS and NBRSA legal? Honestly my untrained eye can't see what the difference is, someone please explain.
Thanks,

Rodzilla is legal for Fclass
First, I said nothing about legality for F-Class.
Second, I really don't care because I have no dog in F-Class competition. Please take a look at tis thread:
Please read the entire thread. There seems to my unknowledgeable mind there are a few F-Class sanctioning bodies and they have different ideas about what is "legal" and what is not. I don't see that as an issue so much, as BR games also have the same situation (NBRSA, IBS & UBR to name a few). Then, we cannot forget Williamsport rules either.
Thirdly, the OP has stated what discipline he participates and mentioned nothing about F-Class.
