One of my .223AI's has about had it.......R.I.P. dear PD evaporator!!

If you happen to have a used or no longer used SS slow twist .224 barrel with 20" or so of good rifling left in it - Then I'd like to acquire such barrel (Krieger, Bartline or something like that).

If you're wondering what gives,....... I fit them with a nut to a 700 or savage making a fine shooting varmint gun - Thanks for looking!!

Save yourself a headache on a used barrel and buy a new barrel from Brad the urbanrifleman on here. Wilson blanks and his barrels plain out shoot.

Thanks, but I've rechambered at least several dozen used benchrest barrels with spectacular results. And since I do all my own smithing, which I greatly enjoy - I'm just fishing for a barrel that I can reuse to pound varmints.

I've read it, and no doubt the urbanrifleman sells a good barrels, not sure he sell slow twist barrels? No, I've been down the fast twist road and there fine, just prefer slow twist barrels for my own reasons.

I’m pretty sure he has 1:12 .224 barrels, chambered for maybe $330ish. Kinda hard to beat. Might not be a krieger but at least half the price
