A guy has a bag of lapua dasher brass....

He wants to sell it to me for $50 I claims it’s once fired, problem is it’s all 1.51 ish in length, my brass is 1.54 in length...... is there anything I can do with it if I buy it? There is probably 200+ pieces....

No just keep up on the carbon ring. It’ll shoot just fine. But if your shooting short bullets you’ll have less in the neck.

Most of my Lapua Dasher brass is 1.535, shoots lights out. If you can, prime a case to see how snug they are, if it looks ok, 1x, buy them. 200 cases equal $200, and they’re already FF’ed for $50!

As a P.S. to this post, Dasher FF’ed cases are always a bit shorter then the parent case. Once I FF, resize and trim, squaring up the case mouths, I lose a bit more. I’m on my second Dasher barrel, using this brass and never had a problem with loading, cleaning or accuracy.

Like stated above, setnprimers in a few to make sure the pockets are tight. Wa the once fired once after fireforming or just fireformed? If the pockets are tight, good deal. Go for it.

If the brass is fired and not sized it will get longer when you size it. Even if it doesn't, .003 is about the thickness of a sheet notebook paper.

Don’t worry about the length The shorter the better it will shoot
