A Great Mirage Shield

Does it have to say "rain-x" before it's a quality item????
Only one I saw with packaging that would work plus I needed wiper blades anyway.
Went to Walmart intending to get a 2" venecian blind but they were pretty high so I just started walking and looking for something that would work before buying the blind.
Ain't been in the rain yet so I can't speak for the wiper blades but the shield couldn't work any better.

Good idea and you will like the blades. They are the only blades I would buy. Jeff

And it comes with a free set of wiper blades!

This package cut in half when used with a little velcro, makes a very fine mirage shield.

I like the plastic slats from window Blinds. years ago i saw some down the street sticking out of a trash can. Dang it was enough for about 60 rifles! velcro tabs from Walmart or Lowes.

Home Depot sells a package of replacement plastic vertical blinds slats for about $15, cut to length and you will have a lifetime supply. Add some velcro and your set. Many of us us a different one for each range we go to and record the scope data on them with a sharpie .
And in many cases if you just ask somebody in the mini blind apartment they often have cut pieces that are more than long enough for what we do that they will just give you for free. I think I got something like 40 or 50 of them last time for free which will last me most of my natural life at this point. I just get them out to everybody who needs one at this point.

I looked for those at Home Depot and Lowes and couldn't find them

I bought a few from a guy on this site. About $25.00 each but beautiful and cut to your specs, length, which way up etc.

They look nice and with what I have spent on my builds, I wanted something as classy on top of the barrel.
