A fun thread, what wildcat do YOU wish was mainstream

I would like to see a factory cartridge cases for 22/250 AI 40*, and 7mm T/CU.
Although Starline offers 223 basic cases which only need to be run through a sizing die, but the cases still need fire forming to lessen the case body taper.

I really like the TCUs. Very cool concept. My dad has the 7mm in his TC contender.

What does it offer over the ackley version? What problem did the 30deg shoulder solve that was the downfall of the 40deg?
I prefer the 30 degree shoulder. While the Ackley version is now standardized, I'm surprised that more people havent taken up the RCBS version. I bet if it came out today along with every other new 30 degree version of one thing or another, with good marketing, I bet it would outsell the Ackley version. Just wish they made good off the shelf brass for it. I take norma brass and fire form it. Gives me very good result. Nice looking cases too.

"I would like to see a 22-357 Maximum."

Made a couple half hearted attempts at forming this using .22 Rem Jet dies, never really got serious with it but the thought came around again a couple nights ago while looking at a couple small Martini actions.
Do I remember a 25 version of this in old reloading books? mayby .256 Rem Mag or somesuch thing. Could be fun in lever actions.

256 Winchester Magnum based on .357Mag case, Ruger made a single shot pistol for it called the Hawkeye , Thompson Center chambered Contender barrels for it and Marlin made a lever gun chambered in .30 M1 carbine or 256 Win Magnum. Was the model 62 and feed from a box magazine.

What did wildcatters dream about back in the muzzle loader days?

Powder, primer, and shot all in a convenient self contained unit. Not having to stuff it down the business end of the barrel would be a double bonus.
