A fly met an untimely end today
30 BR, Panda, Deep Creek Tracker by Alex Wheeler,
115 Berger, 21 lb.
100 yards
I was doing the break-in on a new 30 BR barrel, shoot 3, clean, shoot 3, clean when a fly happened to land on the target. The black residue is a fly splatter. Shayne took the 10th shot taking aim at the fly hole

Barrett Zero Gap rings

Nice.
I've got a picture somewhere of flysplatter at 60 meters with a CZ-452. It's a hoot to pull off, and at 100 no less.

If I might inquire about the stock (maybe the builder will chime in) does the buttstock insert have its sides shaped to match the stock contour? Or is it perpendicular to the bottom of the insert?

The rudder has a .750 flat and 22.5 degree sides. It fits an Edgewood bag with .750 gap and short ears perfectly. I can make them in any shape to fit your bag though.

There's blood! Not much of it but if you look reeeeal close..o_O
My question is about shot placement. Was he going for a head shot or a heart shot?:D

With the March 10-60x you could pick out where to shoot at on the fly.
I held the dot on his A$$

That 284 in the classifieds would really splatter them!

Tom

your 284 is a beautiful rifle. I am trying to resist temptation. I can't believe you are letting that March go
after winning the nationals with it.

fighting temptation
