GST plus a long ship accounts for a lot of that but given the total cost is less than NZ$1000 there'd be no tax if you imported it yourself. They are very well packaged...

I did ask them but they quoted me US$200 just for shipping! I did buy locally and got the autotrickler from Adam. Very expensive setup but soooooo lovely to use.

I have a "Parker"ized Lyman M5, Denver Precision scale, and the A&D. All are very accurate but the A&D is so fast it isn't fair... The Lyman works without power so there's that...

You might reach out to www.dataweigh.com. They're out of Illinois and appear to be offering the FX120i for $475 & 30 freight. Also, they are offering the same deal on the complete V3 Autotrickling system that ce products is.
