Thanks for the info. I have a couple different scales that float. I was thinking of throwing a charge with my charge master light and tricking up with my dandy trickler

That's what I am using for now, eventually I will get the Auto trickler. so far in my test loads, my groups have improved. Going to load some up today for my next practice.

I just received one from CE products. It was $545 to my door with shipping and tax. I have only unpacked it, but the scale is a beast. I wasn't prepared for the size of it. My only electronic scale was a little (2 " wide) cheap $30 job that I never trusted so I always verified with the beam.

I did that very successfully for a couple of years after watching the Eric Cortina video. Improved my load accuracy.

Finally broke down and bought the A&D Fx120i WITH the autotrickler. I didn't get the auto dump. I use my RCBS Chargemaster for that. Life is good now.

I jumped on this deal a few weeks ago. Fantastic...................
I think it came in less do to Dollar Rate ? Wife is Book Keeper , I am just spender .

I started with fx120i/auto trickle, throwing manually, trickling up. Then I got the auto throw later.
My advice is to just get it all in the first place. So fast and easy, it’s gonna make you wonder why you didn’t do it sooner. Get two cups and it’s even a touch faster. You really gotta pay attention!! Just make them weigh the same. Mine took a sliver of electrical tape for weight.

so much faster than anything else, which makes it more enjoyable and makes me more inclined to shoot more. Just like any tool. Shovel vs backhoe basically. I hide from shovels

AFAIK, CE only sells the scale. The V3 Auto throw and Auto trickler is an add-on to the scale that you can buy separately, or as a package from other retailers/suppliers. The Area 419 "setup" are all modifications to the standard components that come with the V3 set. I don't have the 419 upgrades - too expensive where I live, but they seem nice. Having said that, I don't find myself wanting using the "standard" V3...

My interpretation - I don't find myself (wanting)or needing,using the "standard" v3...
For me the clear top is a nice feature ! I have the A@D cover made by member,( Just Dreaming) I don't have to move my head up and down to see under the lid.
