25 new brakes? You haven a shoulder issue?
Was wondering the same thing...maybe we are lookin at it wrong...you wanting an ear issue???? Brakes will sure give you one if you forget plugs!!!!

Ummmm, they ain't for ME....... I sell this stuff 
got me one a' them Ought Seven Eff Eff Ell thingamajigs and I make and sell hunting rifles that shoot aggregate 1/4moa groups....
Except that tacticoolian barrel in the pixture won't, but it should agg 3/4moa and YES, it has a "shouldering issue" hence the long threaded portion. Got's to keep the metal off the resin....it's an isolation thang.

I hear ya' and I feel yer pain BUT.....Ain't nobody no where can ever claim my setups don't "do justice" nor lack in "due diligence"
and if'n the feller ever wants the rig to really shoot to it's potential, THE BONES WILL BE THERE!!!Ya got's ta' have proper BONES to test the stuff....and that thar Kodiak, she got's some BONES
She WILL Shoot.I recently did just that.... I was asked to test a new barrel being brought to market. So I BOUGHT an Atlas to make the platform, TWO stocks fitted.... the one they wanted and a McMillan..... bought and fitted a Shilen and a Krieger OF THE SAME TAPER AND WEIGHT to it using the same reamer.
And tested the rig.

Nothing against you in fact more power to you for being able to sell rifles you build. If your customer wants a brake so be it. I might actually use a a couple brakes if my plans for a 30/378 and 50 bmg work out.Ummmm, they ain't for ME....... I sell this stuff

Yeahhhhh, you just MIGHT at that......
I'm currently in a run of big 338's in 8-10lb rifles..... building/testing on cases including 338L/338RUM/338-378 and 338-460 and I can state as fact that if you inadvertently touch off one of my creations WITHOUT a brake, you will hurt yourself. Like "take me to the doctor" hurt yourself
I have 50's here, 375CT's, and such that cannot be fired without a brake unless they weigh in the excess of 20lb....even the 378 Weatherby without a brake will break a normal person....be flinchin' and peein' on the rug before you know it.....
The 30-378 is a pussycat compared because it's normally pushing a 180 but it will also cut'chu cut'chu onna' forehead if you lose attention for a minnit....
I have to live with the fact that in my world, if you want to ethically harvest elks at 1000yds, you WILL be shooting a braked rifle. And the BMG??? NOT gonna' happen.....Unless you are an actual T-800 cyborg and even then the T-1000 models with their fluid structure were better at it. Nothing bipedal with rigid endoskeleton will ever shoot a packable 50BMG without a brake.....
