A 6mm for her

A 6bra with a 272nk and a .104fb might not be a bad choice that could cover everything from about 60gr bullets up to 105s. I did not want to do false shoulder fire forming like with the long 6br's. I already shoot an AI in f/open so I know that a fire forming load can be just as accurate. My original comment about fire forming is more to do with just treating it like a chore and not caring what it does on paper.

I built a 6BRA for the wife. She loves her rifle, though I think she wants even less recoil (yeah, I know ). She's a funny one, loves handguns with lots of recoil but wants her rifles to have as little of recoil as possible.

If she ever shoots out the barrel, I'll probably get a .22 BRA spun up for her.

I wouldn't over think it. 6 Dasher, 6BR, 6BRA, .22 BR/BRA, etc are all probably really good choices. No reason why you can't shoot any of these cartridges at 1,000 yards - it's not like there's an invisible wall at 600 yards that prevents the 6BR (or other cartridges) from shooting further.

I'm not sure telling your wife you're thinking of getting her a BRA or admitting you have one is the right move.

I think I'd stick with a BR and try to avoid the marital discord. :D

It’ seems to me that a bit of recoil just goes with the territory doesn’t it? I wouldn’t discount a lady’s ability to manage just fine with any of the BR or variations and better than some guys.
Just saying
