So for giggles tonight I disassembled 15 rounds and weighed the charges. I used my FX-120i to weigh the charges.
All rounds were previously made on a Dillon 550 with a Lee brand powder measure & dies.
I was looking to drop 4.0 grains and my 15 round avg was 3.94. That in itself was pretty good. The extream spread was IMO pretty poor. The lightest charge was 3.32 grains and the heaviest 4.24.
So, I think I need to investigate that Lee powder measure. Also if Im short stroking the machine.
As always YMMV.
