It was balmy Saturday afternoon but it was the only open time for me between changing the Wife's brakes in the morning and going out for dinner in the evening. I chose an old haunt that limits shots to a little over 200 yards and is tight so I grabbed the Encore in .17 Ackley Bee. From it's 24" 10tw MGM full bull barrel it pushes the 20 grain Z-Max to 3923 fps and pass throughs are rare. Fist taker was a big Boar on a "Walk About" at 159 yds. The BogPod swivels making the shot doable. Nothing else was moving except for these three pups at a whopping 28 yards. They did keep me there,despite the heat, for 3 1/2 hours though. 97 total now and looking forward to hitting 100 in July!
