90 grain bullets in .224 fast twist

need load data for 90 grain berger vld and bt for 22-243 middlested or cartridge of similar case capacity

I suggest that you contact Walt Berger (just use the Berger email on their site). Walt will run some numbers for you if he still does that stuff. Been 2-3 years since I asked a question from Berger. A was trying to shoot the 90 VLDs in my 22-250 AI. Walt told me that this bullet is not designed to shoot at the speeds at 22-250AI would generate (your middlested will be even faster). He sent me a couple of bullets to try. He told me my 1:8 twist was on the edge of stability. The holds in the target were round (nothing sideways), but it groups very bad. One need a 1:7.5 or faster twist to make them fly. I'll see if I can find my old emails that Walt gave me. I think he ran numbers using a 220 Swift case capacity. It might be a good starting point for your Middlested. Luck, Tim

75 gr AMax hang together and group well all the way to the 39xx velocity. This is in a 22/6mm AI.

Have only shot 80 gr AMax's in my 222 Mag Ackley Improved....they just thump along at 31xx fps. Group very well at 1K yards as well. Rather flat shooting to boot.
