9/16 Bridgeville, DE 600 yd. IBS Benchrest Match

The inaugural match of the Bridgeville Rifle and Pistol Club 600 yard IBS Benchrest season occurs on Sunday, September 16th. Sign-up begins at 8:00 am and shooting starts at 10:00 am.

We shoot Light Gun (less than 17 lbs.) Heavy Gun (unlimited weight) and Factory Gun classes. IBS shooter of the year points are awarded at this match for Light and Heavy classes. Bridgeville shooter of the year points are awarded for all 3 classes as well.

New shooters, come on out and introduce yourself. Any of the regulars will gladly buddy up with you and make your experience a positive one! Any questions about the 600 benchrest shoots, post here in this thread and you'll get answers!

Quick question.

I am a F- Class shooter . Can I shoot from a prone position or must I shoot from a Bench?

According to IBS rule book for long range matches, rule #473 SHOOTING POSITION: All shooters shall shoot from designated benches. Shooting off-hand or from the prone or kneeling position is not allowed.

Hey Jerry,
Any word from Richard? According to the latest weather report this morning, the weather here in Delaware is looking pretty good for Sunday. I'm thinking the biggest problem will be for the shooters coming up from the south. Hope to see you on Sunday.
