88 gr Bergers in 6X47L?

Anyone have any luck with 88 gr Berger FB Varmint in a 6X47L?
I have a 1 in 8 twist. Shoots 80 gr Bergers all day at 3300fps with consistent groups of 0.25" or less (N550 and F205M or CCI450). Have shot down to .190" with this barrel.
But when going to 88 gr Bergers, can not get any reasonable accuracy, and start getting pressure signs at only 3150fps (N550 and F205M or CCI 450). Pierced primer on F205M before I could get to 3200. In all cases accuracy was 0.6" - 1.0" - ouch.
Apprecaite any info you may have.

I'm shooting a 6x47L, 28" Bartlein 8tw .269nk that loves the 88fb Bergers pushed by 40gr of H4350, it's a low pressure load 50211 psi @ 3238 fps that has no trouble holding 1&1/2" vertical at 500yds. I've shoot several hundred rounds of this load in the dog towns and have never pierced a primer.

HOWDY !

I was shooting 88 Bergers for 2yr, out of rifle chambers in a 6mm wildcat; w/ case capacity in the 6XC - 6X47 range.
29" SS 1-8 "5-C " rifled barrel.

They did pretty good. w/ only the occasional curious flyer.

One day, I had all 5 bullets of a 5-shot group leave irregular
" smeared " holes in the paper. The holes looked much akin those seen on cheese graters..... sort of oblong. Group size was pretty good, regardless ?!

The target was square relative to the bench/rifle, and the breeze was moderate.

I have no usefull explanation for those 5 funky holes, and went away from use of the 88s; as one consequence.

I'm happier now, w/ 95-105 VLDs anywayz.
