I load, 43.7 grs of VhitaVouri N-160 with, CCI 200's at, a COAL of, 2.685 about, .040 "Jump" ,in my Tikka 1-10, T-3 SS 22 inch bbl., .243 Win for a chrono'd, 3,130 FPS ( it's NOT, a Max load but, sub 1/2 MOA ) Rem cases.
And 43.5 grs of N-160 with CCI 200's with, the 87 Berger HVLD's W/ a COAL of, 2.710, going, 3,110 FPS (same Gun ) ES of 11 with, this load, and shoots in, the .2's and 3's ,.. you PAY for, accuracy !
You could also Try,.. IMR 4350 with, these 87 vmax Bullets starting at, about 41 grains for this weight, bullet.
I use 42.3 grs of, IMR 4350 with, the #1515 Sierra, 80 grain Varmint Blitz Bullet going only 3,000 FPS or so ( But it's a sub 1/2 MOA load, too ). There are also, some Winchester StaBall loads at, Hogdon Reloading ! N-160 is an AWESOME Powder and Berger's ARE an awesome Bullet,. IF you want to pay for them ! Hope this helps !

I run 44.1gr of IMR 4451 with 87gr VMAXs and get 3320fps from a 26” barrel. I use Peterson LR brass and Federal 210Ms.

I use 42gr of rl16, came from an estimate off alliant s online data for a 85gr and it shoots real well

I use varget with the 87 gr. Vmax. but it was in a 6MM Remington. I believe I used 39 grs. for about 3200 fps. I don't remember the actual formula anymore since I rebarrelled to 6XC. Now I use 37 grs. Varget for 3192 fps. Never had a 243 but this should give you some idea.

Agreed that the OP can derive perfectly adequate estimated load data for an 87 gr bullet from the known 85/90 gr data using simple linear interpolation..

Yep. I believe 39 or 39.1 gr under a 70 Blitzking at 3420fps. Very accurate too.

I've ran H4895, the 87 vmax is not fur friendly. Hit the shoulder bone & expect a softball size hole.
