85gr 6mm Barnes TSX?

I'm wondering how well these will perform on WI whitetail inside of 150 yards out of 6mmBR and also if they will stabilize with a 12 twist? I have shot 87gr Vmax's with no problem but I don't know if these are longer bullets? Thanks for any info.

Since they are an all copper bullet, they are long. My best guess is that they would need a 1-10 but you may want to give them a try and let us know.

Thanks for the reply, I was guessing it would need a 10 twist, I just wanted to avoid spending $30 on bullets I might not be able to shoot.

You know, there is no way to know without trying it.I shot 87 gr Hornadys out of my 12 twist 6br savage and they did fine out to 200 yds.

Maybe you could get somebody to sell you 5 or 10. They are expensive and come in boxes of 50.

With the TSX being a boattail and solid copper I bet they are longer than the 87 Hornady. Below is a link to an article on the 244 Rem which also had a 12 twist.
