8208XBR data for 222 mag. Sierra 6 reloading manual

I have read that there is data for the 222 mag in the Sierra 6th edition for the 222 mag. Looking to use XBR8208. Unable to find this manual in stock anywhere. Does anyone have it that could give me starting and max loads for 50 and 55 gr bulets. Will be loading hornady vmaxes.
Any reliable info would be appreciated from anyone whom has tried it.
thanks in advance

IMR 8208XBR with 50grn. a bullet: 24.3grn to 26.9grn

IMR 8208XBR with 52grn. to 55grn. bullets: 22.4grn to 26.2grn.

I did some research and one source listed the case capacity of the .223 as a grain less than the .222 mag. Perhaps you could use that information combined with the starting load differences with powders of similar speed that you have data for.

Supposedly the 22PPC has the same case capacity of the 222 mag.

Boyd, I have looked up exactly what you posted. Printed out the data for 223 and 22 PPC for the same powders. In the process of doing a comparison now. Just a bit reluctant to use a non tested load. I have used this powder in 2 other cartridges with great success And read on forums that it has given people their best accuracy.

I am going to try H4895 b-4 going the 8208 road, but if I can’t get very accurate results, i will give the 8208 a shot using what I feel will be the minimum load and carefully work up in .2 gr at a time an see what happens from there.

Hoping to get someone respond that has a 222 mag and will share their experience if they have used this powder.

Looks like RussellJ may have some good data to start with. Not sure if they are his shooting loads or the min. I will prob star a bit lower

thank you

Generally, with a new powder in something like what you are interested in, I will cobble together a safe starting load using multiple sources and a bit of interpolation, and do a one shot per charge mini ladder test on the same target, using .3 grain intervals, paying close attention to the flags. I run the charges up until pressure signs tell me to stop, noting the temperature and humidity. I look for clusters. I typically seat bullets so that they are very slightly longer than touch. This one test, in a very short time, with few components, usually gives me a good place to start with smaller charge differences.
