80SMK, How Far Off Lands

Just wondering what others have found. How far off the lands (or jammed) do you seat 80SMK's in a .223.

OK...is this a stupid question or am I the only one shooting 80gr SMK's?

THey are pretty resilient. THey should shoot well from anywhere .005 off to .025 off. I have even shot them jambed with success. Your going to have to find the sweet spot for your barrel. Personally I would start at .010 off and work my way out until I find that right combo.

I'm jumping them 15 thou. Pointing them also which really increased my X count. No dog likes the same food, start at 10 and go from there. What's your load?

24.4grs Varget, CCI br. I played around with seat depth and settled on 10thou off. I was just curious with what others found. Was thinking maybe I missed something somewhere.

Play with them at distance to see what they like. I have not shot the 80 but at 1000 the 107 in a Dasher liked it in the lands. I find when I go distance the gun shows what it wants. Matt
