80.5 Berger full bore bullets

Will a 24" barrel with 1 in 8 twist shoot these bullets good or do they need a faster twist rate?
What about the 77 SMK's or the Berger 77 gr OTM bullets?

8 Twist will work all the way down to sea level, but 7.5 is recommended for the 80.5 Fullbore.
Here is the Berger page for your bullet at 1:8, sea level and 2650 fps. (2750 - 2900 doesn't move the needle much.)

Your 77s will be fine.
Before you buy a huge supply of any of these, I would test to see what your rig likes.

They'll work fine in the barrel length you mentioned and 1 in 8 twist. I'm using that bullet with N140 in a Tikka T3x Varmint with good results.

In my 24" AR the muzzle velocity is close to 2800 fps. At 500 ft above sea level and 59 degree F, Berger's stability calculator shows losing 2% of BC.
At 1000 ft and 70 degree F, it shows no BC loss.

Thank you guys for all the help, I appreciate it.
What charge weight are you guys using with Varget or Re 15?
With my charge of 24.5 Varget I am getting average 2700 fps, do I need more powder?
