Does anyone have any reloading data for this cartridge? 7x300 Weatherby Magnum.
I'm not sure what you will use the rifle for but you will wear out the throat pretty quickly with all the testing. You may already have to seat your bullets further out to touch.Since my last post I have been testing different bullets and powders, so far the 175 Nosler ABLR has been vey accurate as well as the 168 Nosler
ABLR. The best powder seems to be H -US869 and RL33 and RL26. I have tested the 180 Berger Hyb. ,162 ELD Hornady Match and the 168 Vld. I am using Nosler new loading data for the 28 Nosler. I am getting the same velocities as the book lists.
to kendoka66 Is this the same 7mm-300 Weatherby Wright I used to read about being used to win 1000 yd matches? Thanks Bill570 hasn't been around since I stopped shooting my 7-300 Weatherby at Williamsport around , guessing 1976-79 . Still have 3 lbs and the rifle .
I don't know why , but it's in the corner gun safe .
It should be pretty close if it isn't. Mattto kendoka66 Is this the same 7mm-300 Weatherby Wright I used to read about being used to win 1000 yd matches? Thanks Bill
Bill if you go to Original Pa 1000 yard club. On the website on the upper left click on club info history, once there you can see article by Dave Troxell, Official world records and lots of other stuff. Lots of good info on the website. MattSir Can you give us some history on the rifle, cartridge, and shooters of that era? Thanks Bill
