7wsm and 162 amax?

Just wondering if anybody has any data for this combo. I have searched a couple different forums and found some stuff, but was just wondering if anybody had anything they haven't posted before or didn't mind posting again. My gun will be done soon so I am trying to gather as much data as possible. The gun is a surgeon wsm short action with surgeon wsm bottom metal and a 26' krieger mtu contour. Thanks in advance for your help.

Do you have the 7mm 162gr A-Max bullets? They seem to be impossible to find now.

gbp - what kind of velocity does that load normally give in a 26' barrel?

TonyR - I have been trying to find some like crazy but haven't had any luck yet. The gun is going to be set up to shoot 162 amax's or 168 bergers since it is a surgeon wsm short action with their wsm bottom metal. I would just really prefer to shoot the amax's myself.

I have been looking for some myself and found next to nothing in 7mm. I have found other sizes but not these. Fortunately the Bergers seem to be available and their bullets a very good.

My best load so far is 70.5gr H1000 at 3.014'oal. .015 off of lands. I'm getting 3030fps and with a 100yd zero it is only 8.5moa to 565yds. This load works well in my 26' barrel with no pressuer signs. Shoots 1/2 moa AT 565YDS and is my hunting rifle.
