7mm tipped bullets

Relating to twist and stability, as the tip has little mass and is fairly long, the over all length of the bullet metal section is therefore shorter compared to a non-tip bullet. So would using tipped bullets in slow twist barrel (9.5) be a real advantage for greater stability. --- "A" twist calc was asking for tip length, there must be some affect!

The same aerodynamic forces are generated by the plastic tip as in a hollow point, so there is no stability advantage; if anything, there will be less stability because the center of gravity is further behind the center of pressure.
