7mm Rem Mag Loads

Looking at loading some Hornady ELD-X 175gn for my two 7mm rem mag rifles. I would love to run H1000, but I've only got a lb of it (cant find em anywhere) and doubt ill be able to do load tests for both rifles and then make hunting rounds with the leftovers.

So, I have 2 lbs of H4831SC, which I've heard will do the job well. I've been told to shoot the eld-x 0.010 off the lands and try 64gns. Everywhere i've looked seems to have a max charge of about 2 grains lower than this...

Hodgon:
170gn Sierra: Min (63) - Max (65)
175gn Nosler Part: Min (55) - Max (58)
180gn Berger VLD: Min (58.6) - Max (64.5)

Berger:
180gn VLD: Min (56.5) - Max (61.2)

Hornady:
175gn ELD-X: Min (54.6) - Max (59.9)

Sierra:
175gn SBT Gameking: Min (58.9) - Max (64.4)

What are you guys running or what would you recommend. I don't have the rifle yet (should be here next week), but I plan on figuring out my max load while breaking in the barrel by starting out at 57gns and then going up to probably 66gn in 0.5gn increments. From there, I will most likely try and do the Saterlee load test based on my outcome.

The 4831 should work fine.
Personally, i'd use Hornady load data.
Start low and work up.
My Savage 111 likes the ELDX 0.020" from the lands.
Much further for my 284 Win.
They are fairly forgiving.

For the really out there, Alliant has load data for 175gr and RL33...

What charge are you using for the savage? im assuming 7rem mag?

I'm not running the 175gr, or your powder.
I am shooting 150gr, 162gr ELDX over RL23 & RL26.
I've since switched over to 150gr ABLR with RL23, and 168gr Berger VLD-H with RL26.
