7mm Custom Bullets

Don't forget, mono's like a good jump.

I have never read anything to be conclusive in that area. Like
anything, until I start my own official tests , everything is just hear
say, And especially for BR type mono bullets. this will be new ground.

Next time I see yinz' or Jeff, I'll give you some Cutting Edge bullets.
They are 130gr match. They shot quite well, however, The 171gr
Barnes Match burners shot good as well, and at almost 1/3 the cost.

Shot good ? What does this mean,
good for a hunting rifle 3 inches at 100 yd ?
good for an f-class rifle?
good for benchrest rifle ? 1K rifle needs to be lest than 5 inch 10 shot group

The only ones that meet my needs are BIB 180’s and hoping Barts 180s…..

Shot good ? What does this mean,

I mentioned "quite well" Quite well for me is 1/3rd moa at 300
yards. It's the furthest I can shoot at my range.

Good is 1/2 moa, I'll hunt with that.

1 moa, the barrel gets pulled and tomato's get planted.

Well, if any bullet maker wants to be totally overwhelmed all they have to do is copy the 180 hybrid and most every f-open shooter will buy them. I suspect they know this and have not done it on purpose.

would not the 220 30 cal with the short boat tail be better design to copy into a 7mm ?

The JLK 210 short boat tail and now the 220 boat tail has proven to be very good long range bullets.

The 180 hybrid is the most winning bullet in f-open. Id start there before reinventing the wheel.

Im not a bullet maker. I dont have an opinion there. I have shot really well on J4 and sierra jackets though.

I bought the last of them from Sierra direct, 2000 on the shelf
to last me, and why I'm scampering to a different end. Hammer
is sending me some sample's, then I'll go from there.
