Got to have cool name! Wouldn't hurt to have some big time TV professional hunter to showcase it's abilities on a program... Imagine, prairie dog hunting will never be the same. Just go to the state with prairie dogs, load your super dyno whoppin' 17 SIG Fury and shoot in the general direction. No hold over, no wind dope. Just bang, flop...

.20 WSM,
.22 - 460 Weatherby
.243 - .338 Edge

jut to name a few. I have several others, as well as handful of ones other folks asked me to do for them by shortening the case necking it down or up and changing the H2O capacity, making custom bullet profiles that are not in the database etc.

I ran into a feller who was deer hunting with a 6mm-338 Lapua. I happen to have my 358 Grant on hand for comparison.20150103_135006.jpg

How bout a .20 BMG?
 
Spoke with a guy last Sunday shooting a 7mm-.338 Lapua. Looked like it had a 40 deg. shoulder. big honking' gun he shoots ELR with. He was done for the day when I got there and he was fiddling with a brake and tuner. The blast must have been monumental. Said he usually only shoots 3 rounds or so per session. Wonder why........

So the 55g .177 is possible...I'll see if anyone offers the 1- 2 barrel.

7mm Creedmoor realalistic expectations

I have been reading about the 7mm Creedmoor and 7mm GPC (Grady Precision Cartridge) and I am frankly amazed at the velocities some people are claiming to get from this cartridge. Most of what I am finding is from last year (in terms of most recent info) and people are claiming up to 2900 FPS...

Can't find the brass very easy for the 7saum easy

Not very good or hard to find for brass on the 7-08 as well????

But lots of brass options for 6.5 cm
 
Just Back Order, the 7 SAUM, ADG Brass at, a COUPLE of Places, you WILL, get some,.. eventually !
I always Buy 200 Rounds of Brass, BEFORE, I choose / order,.. a new Barrel.
Most good, Gun shops HAVE, 7mm-08 Brass on hand.
7mm "Creed" would be,.. a WIMP compared to, the .284 Win or, 7mm-08 !
The 6.5 Creedmoor,.. IS,.. PERFECT, as IS ! ( Sales, DON'T,.. Lie ).
But IF you think that, YOU,.. "Need" one,.. build it !

Everyone knows that once you neck above 6.5 it is no longer a Creedmoor. It would have to be a 7mmTC! The story about 7.6 Creedmoor was an April Fools joke. If you read it, it’s actually the same dimensions as a 308 Win.
