7mm Ackley Imp cases???

Just how many different Ackley Imp 7mm/284 caliber cases are there????

I have found 2 different ones,
one on the 06 case and the other on 280 case.

What about the 7mm AI on the 7x57 case? I kil(harvested) many caribou with mine.

You can modify anyone that you want. 7.08AI, several changes on the 284, RSAUM, WSM, or even 7rem mag case. The list keeps going! What are you looking for?

I am mainly interested in the 06 case lengths, at this time.

Are you thinking of a target or hunting rig? The 270/280 case is based off the 30-06, but has a longer neck. The longer neck will give you better bullet hold, or allow you to seat bullets out farther. Thus increasing capacity. However brass availability is different. Norma makes 280AI brass, but at a premium price. You don't have the cost of fire forming, so it can equal out. Or you can base your chamber off the 30-06 case, with Lapua brass.

built 2 280AI, no regrets on accuracy or fps, very easy to load and handles 140-175's very well - easily 3200 with 140s as a starter.
