Here is my latest 7mm-8 Big Game Load:
Rifle: Sako L 579 Hunter purchased new 20 yrs ago
Scope: Leupold VXIII 3.5-10x40mm-AO also 20yrs new
Bullet: Nosler Accubond 160gr
Case: Hornady Frontier Once Fired,Neck Sized and Trimmed to 2.025"
Powder: Alliant Reloader19,weight 47.5gr
Primer: CCI BR-2
Overall Length:2.767" to fit magazine
Notes: As with many 7mm-08 Hunting Rifles, in my Sako I can not seat a Hunting Cartridge Bullet out to the Lands because it will not fit in the Magazine. Despite that;this load gives me a consistent 0.5-0.75 inch 100yd 5 shot grouping. CCI BR-2 Primers generally tightened my handloads about .5" from standard primers.
