7mm-300 PRC

Based on the reduction in throat wear I think your about right. I do prefer 30s myself. The 30s will do everything better except recoil. So the point of the 7mm is you can build the rifle lighter and it will still shoot well.
As an interested member, I would like to thank Alex Wheeler for his input and the benefit of his experience. His responses inject reason into some issues that become emotional.

I have a 7-300 prc love it. Running H1000, shooting Hornady 190 a tipps, but got 197 Sierra, and it loves it currently doing about 3100 with that, but I need to push it more no signs of pressure zero at 100 3 moa up to 300 and putting them next to each other nP

Dave, care to share your load with H-1000? I'm about to start break in on a new barrel. I have 190's and 197's.

I would say 200 more rounds of barrel life over the 28 Nosler. Alex chambered me one of these. I got some good data on it. 24” barrel shot best with 184’s at 3070 with H1000, 3090 with Retumbo and N570 was 3130. I didn’t stand on it to hard. Wanted to try and conserve barrel life. And 3100 is plenty for me.
Hello. Curious, i just started load dev on my 7-300PRC A.I., shooting sierra 197 matchking tips, using H1000, Rem 700 ultra mag action on a Bartlein 28" barrel. with 20 rounds thru the barrel and 74 -74.4 grns of powder I am at 3000 fps. Have you any data on something comparable?
