7mm-08 Hornady Ammo

Anyone got a box they can measure the neck on? I need to know what the neck diameter is on the loaded round.

I get .3105 with my no turn neck.

That's about the same as Rem and Win ammo.
I noticed you said "with my no-turn neck" I'm looking for the neck diameter on Hornady production manufactured 7mm-08 ammo.

I seriously doubt it would be any more that different than a thou or 2. Go to a gun shop and ask if you could measure it. Just measured some prvi partisan ammo and it measured .308 on a loaded round.

If there was a gun shop around that had some I would've already been there. I have measured everything I'm interested in except the Hornady. All the Rem. and Win. ammo is right around .310 and if I find out the the Hornady is somewhere near the same then I will have my reamer reground from a .316 nk to a .313 or just sell it and buy another one like I want it.
I bought a .318nk neck reamer to open necks for use with Lapua 308 brass necked down for 7mm-08 so I really dont have a use for the .316 unless by chance Hornady has some thick brass.

I just measured a loaded round of Hornady superperformance with a 139 sst in it "factory" .308
