7BR Brass ?

I bought 200 or so once fired 7BR Brass off another sight as well as 100 new. I've was told the brass was new loaded ammo he fired in his 7BR. I started cleaning and resizeing it. Found to be better quality brass than the new stuff I got. I necked some of the factory shot brass down to 6BR w/o incident but when I did the same thing with new brass the same way the necks caved in? also when trimming the factory shot brass it was easier to trim it seemed softer. All around seemed to me to be better quality brass? The 7BR factory seemed to be heavier than the new brass. Maybe my imagination? I also bought 6 boxes new 7BR loaded factory ammo from the same person. Like to find more people like him. Just inquisative. Lou
