7828ssc and an ever changing average velocity....

So then, are powder manufacturers' (Hodgdon that I've seen most recently) warnings about leaving powder in a dispenser or powder measure without merit? I'm guilty of leaving 1/4 full chargemaster for more than a day between opportunities to test loads.
If you leave it in there too long itll stain your chargemaster up pretty bad too. As it offgasses it also changes the burn rate.

That's a very interesting chart if it's accurate, a pity the source is unknown.

That came from SNIPERS HIDE. There are some smart folks over there Considered unwashed heathens in these parts I suppose, but some pretty smart fellas.

I believe shortly people will start testing powders and publishing the data for temperature sensitivity on their own. So many claims these days and almost ZERO testing.

I know one thing, the people that think imr4895 is more temp sensitive than power Pro Mr 2000 are not so smart.

I don't suggest taking that chart as gospel. We don't know what cartridge and case density the author loaded to.

I think it is a start. I know they nailed N160 as being crazy as a March hare which matches my experience.

After switching to all TZ powders my temperature swing from powder effect has gone to basically zero.

Tubb shoots H4350 and H1000 for a reason...

I am always concerned about my ability to get the chronograph lined up perfectly straight. I assume a small error there could change results 1%

Alignment?
Just a quick rule of thumb that can be handy is:
3, 4, 5.
To make a square corner, a triangle with 3 and four units of choice inches, feet yards, mm....
whatever - the hypotenuse is 5, the 2 legs are 3 & 4. Need it larger? Use any multiple of the #s. This means: If you double triple or fourple, you gotta treat all the same. If say using a tape measure to square something up and realize you could have an error of say 1", if you can go to a 6, 8, 10 and shave the error up to 50%. If it is a sag in the tape, not so. But if laying on the ground ....you get my drift.
Kinda like knowing a dime is .710" dia and folding money is 6" (6 1/8).
