722 Trigger to New 700

I have an OLD Remington Model 722 that my grandfather gave me. It has the best trigger on it that I've ever shot. I want to put it onto my 700 action. It seems that the pin will only go through one of the trigger hole but not other. I used the pins removed from the gun while the 722 trigger was out of the rifle,no binding) and they will go through one side but not the other. I DO NOT want to tear up the 722 trigger so I don't really feel confident just drilling it. HERE ARE SOME PICS OF THE TRIGGER....I ASSUME IT'S A 722 TRIGGER?

Is it possible to put this trigger on my 700?

No problem other than a little filing here and there where it hits..
If the sear is down out of the way there is no reason the pins won't go all the way through....
